Elton John and David Furnish
Elton John has been living with David Furnish since 1994. In 2005, the couple entered into a civil partnership in the United Kingdom. This form of legal partnership differs from marriage in that the couple cannot wed in a church, but otherwise, they have all the legal rights and responsibilities of spouses. Currently, Elton and David are raising two sons who were born to a surrogate mother.
