McCartney was the last of the legendary Beatles to get married officially. His chosen one was the American Linda Eastman, a professional photographer.
As Paul remembered, he bought the engagement ring for his bride on the evening of the wedding, just before a nearby store closed, for 12 pounds. So, without much fuss, the McCartney couple lived together for 25 years until Linda’s passing.
