Underwater Hockey
Underwater Hockey, which has been around for almost 70 years, was first introduced in 1954 in England when the game was adapted to be played in a swimming pool. Today, underwater hockey is played worldwide, and the first World Championship for this sport was held in 1980. Four years later, the Women’s World Championship in underwater hockey was also organized.
