Cooper’s Hill Cheese-Rolling
Participants in this competition climb to the top of a hill and await the signal. Then, they release a wheel of Gloucester cheese down the slope, and all the participants chase after it. At the foot of the hill, there are always several ambulances on standby and a rescue team on the day of the competition. The first person to cross the finish line and catch the cheese wins it as a prize.
