Snail Racing
World Championship, held under the slogan “Ready! Steady! Slow!”, may not be easily classified as a world-class race. It’s also debatable whether it falls under the category of competitive sports since the primary spectators are children and pensioners. Nevertheless, patient Britons have been organizing the World Snail Racing Championship in the town of Congham for 25 consecutive years.
